Woodens is a hand-painted original toy from beech wood, the individual parts of which are mutually joined by nylon and glue. Compliance has been demonstrated for with the harmonized norm.
The use of nylon thread (fishing line) for connecting the marionettes with the bar has been shown to be the best technical solution. While special footwear thread demonstrated a life-span of around 4 thousand gymnastic Circles, nylon demonstrated resistance greater than 100,000 gymnastic Circles.
Making-of
Painting on beech wood requires significant technical skill and steadiness with each pass of the brush.
We sought professionals from the fields of ceramic or glass painting, i.e. from areas that maintained small scale hand-painting in the face of significant automation. An artist who will not submit to introducing styles and then his toys willl be attractive to children. We believe that Mirka Kydalova has succeeded in this task.
